THE FACILITIES
Vesper College is located at 201 6th St. SE in the city of Minneapolis. The facilities include 5329 square feet of a newly transformed historic telephone building built in 1902.
The studios contain individual student work spaces with Asian hardwood drafting tables and cedar work benches. Each student is welcome to use their own studio space as a center for their life while enrolled at the College. Students have 24/7 access to their studio.
There are two shops containing wood, stone and metal working tools including an industrial planer and pneumatic stone chisel.
The classroom sits no more than 16 students and is equipped with a PC, digital projector, production software and a large format plotter.
Work is showcased in the Vespertrough Gallery. Students are required to formally install work in the gallery using techniques garnished from their studies.
The Williams Library is located adjacent to the Vespertrough Gallery and houses over 1000 books and 10 periodicals of directed study applicable to the vision of Vesper College. The college also subscribes each student to a virtual library account from Questia which entails 65,000 volumes.
A wireless high-speed network is available for wireless internet connectivity.
