FS3303 AUTOCAD

Course Description

A comprehensive exposure to AutoCAD. This includes setting up drawings, scale and line weights. The course will also integrate the use of AutoCAD with other software programs such as InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Some 3 dimensional AutoCAD will be introduced.

Prequisite: Drafting must be taken before or concurrently with AutoCAD

Course Compentencies

• Use file management to organize data
• Troubleshoot AutoCAD and its tools
• Set up sheet layouts and multiple view ports with varying scales
• Referencing and Construction Documents
• Integrating AutoCAD as a presentation tool in conjunction with other software programs

Students enrolled in course must log 30 hours of lecture time in order to receive a passing grade in the course.
